The Fusion Family
Lisa’s yoga journey began years before she even had an inclination of becoming a yoga teacher. It was trauma that actually made her realise that yoga was her path, that she wanted to share with others what had helped her through a bad time in life.
She completed her first 200 hrs in 2013, and her 300 hrs in 2019. She knew from the start that it was her goal to open her own studio. Her first little space was such a joy; only being able to fit maximum 10 mats in. After 2 years she decided to “feel the fear and do it anyway” and commit to a bigger premises. Fusion Yoga Studios was born.
She chose the name “Fusion” representing the Free Spirited approach she has to teaching this wonderful ancient practice. She likes to draw from the teachings of all of her amazing teachers and the many different yoga linages to deliver a beautiful vinyasa style practice “Fusion Yoga” .
She believes in living a life full of joy, freedom, gratitude and free from judgement. These feelings inform and guide her teaching and practice, which is focused on helping her students better connect to themselves and to improve their physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
She believes yoga is for Everyone whatever your body type or personality. Yoga is more than just physical posture and she is passionate about delivering the essence of the practice and weaving yoga philosophy into every one of her classes. She strives to bring a beautiful fusion of strength, flexibility, love, light, energy & healing to her classes.
Sarah’s journey with yoga began 14 years ago, when she gave birth to her son.
Shortly after his birth she was diagnosed with postpartum psychosis. She was provided care from The Beeches, Mother and baby unit in Derbyshire who introduced her to the practice of Yoga. It quickly became a life line practice for her.
Through learning yoga, meditation, mindfulness and breath work she found ways to manage her mental health and raise her beautiful son. She is a firm believer in using yoga as a tool to help people with mental health issues, just as she uses yoga to help with her own mental health.
She truly believes that yoga can be accessible for everyone and strives to stay true to the lineage of yoga. Sarah is passionate about sharing not only the physical practice of yoga, but the spiritual aspects too.
She is now a 400 hour Yoga Alliance registered Yoga Teacher, after completing her first 200 hrs in 2019 and her second in 2021. Sarah is incredibly passionate about teaching yoga as a practice both on and off the mat, and strives to create a safe community for all who are wanting to start their own yoga journey.
She believes yoga teaches us a beautiful way of navigating life’s ups and downs, helping cultivate coping strategies, emotional intelligence, peace and balance.
Fusion Team
The name NaMasYoga comes from the mixture of Namaste (greetings or salutation from the divine) and my name Masniari (the sun, warmth). Based on my own personal experience, yoga has helped me embrace change, discover my own personal inner strength, build self confidence and helped me find my inner calmer happier self. Yoga can also be a powerful tool in healing trauma. I am passionate about sharing my experience and knowledge of yoga to the local community. Yoga is for everyone, no matter what age, shape, or size. Yoga is not just about the physical practice that happens on the mat.
I offer a gentle yoga flow on Wednesday mornings at Fusion. I also run menopause yoga workshops.
I first studied Mantra (chanting and toning) for healing with Angie Milbourn and soon realised that Sound Therapy was my path. I continued my training with world renowned Sanji Hall in Gongs and Singing Bowls.
He combines Eastern philosophy and Western methods to sound work. I now apply sound healing in both 1:1 healing treatments and group Sound Bath sessions using a combination of Gongs, singing Bowls, Tuning Forks, and other percussion instruments and vocals.I am very passionate about sound and the healing benefits it can offer. I offer a group Healing Sound bath at Fusion on the first Friday of each month.
I'm Tara Luke, and I support families from pregnancy through early parenthood with compassion and care. For over a decade, I’ve taught pregnancy yoga, baby massage, and baby yoga—creating welcoming spaces where parents and babies feel held and connected.
At the heart of my work is community. Whether through classes or one-to-one support, I aim to build lasting relationships and a sense of belonging. As a doula, I offer continuous support through pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. My approach is calm, grounded, and focused on your unique needs and choices.
I’ll be teaching pregnancy yoga, baby massage and baby yoga at the studio, and I look forward to welcoming you and walking alongside you in your parenthood journey
Not your average Pilates Instructor! Maybe you’ve never done Pilates before but your GP or physio has suggested it will help, or you’ve exercised for years and you’ve heard about the benefits. My aim is to give you the confidence and knowledge to improve you’re health. I deliver with both compassion and passion, and truly believe that when we take ownership of our own health, the rewards can be more than we ever imagine.
I also have a personal interest in using lifestyle changes to manage the symptoms of menopause and deliver this knowledge in groups and 121s. I\'d love to help you achieve your goals. With the appropriate support, it just might be easier than you think!
