Managing the Mayhem of Menopause – Half Day Workshop

Would you like to learn how to turn around menopausal weight gain, and sleep all night? This 3.5 hour workshop offers simple lifestyle changes we can make to manage our menopausal symptoms either instead of, or alongside HRT.

We will learn what’s happening to our body and begin to make sense of how this affects us in so many ways. Although there are 54 known symptoms of menopause, in this 3 .5 hour work shop we will look at weight management, and sleep, and how they are linked. You will learn:

  • How poor sleep impacts weight gain.
  • How decreasing Oestrogen levels can unbalance many other important hormones that play a role in weight.
  • Why eating less and exercising more doesn’t work anymore in this stage of life.
  • How when we eat, is as important as what we eat when considering weight-loss AND sleep.
  • Foods to include and foods to avoid to help us achieving eve our goals.
  • The type and timing of exercise that is best for the mid life woman.
  • The importance of a sleep routine and advice on how to implement this.

You will also receive:

  • Advice, support, tip’s and motivation.
  • ‘Quiz’ to help you understand which areas of your lifestyle can be improved to help with your menopause symptoms.
  • List of menopause specific ‘Healthy Habit’ suggestions to take away.
  • Support from others on the same journey.

You’ll come away with specific tools that are individual to you, to implement the very next day. Armed with this information, you may well be getting a full nights sleep within days.
